Utilizing wax and gesso surfaces, Smith layers and erases oil pastel marks to create evocative pieces that delve into the realms of the unknown and unseen.

PACO ROMERO

Paco Romero, a ceramic artist residing in the mountains near Galilee, creates pieces profoundly connected to nature. Originally from Alicante, Romero’s artistic journey led him to Mallorca in 2016, where he embraced hand-built techniques. His functional and decorative ceramics, crafted from local materials such as clay and stones, eschew glazes to maintain their natural aesthetics. His recent work includes the “Skins” and “Stratos” series, along with a notable collaboration with Contain Studio, featuring unique ceramic lighting showcased successfully in Japan.
